Morning sightseeing includes historic Buda Castle, where you will
have splendid views of the twin cities of Buda and Pest as well as
the Danube. Also see 500-year-old Matthias Church, St. Stephen’s

Sun. BUDAPEST.
A free morning. This afternoon transfer to your luxurious cruise

Mon. KALOCSA.
Spend the morning in Kalocsa, renowned for its paprika production.
Visit the Paprika Museum, then admire a show of equestrian prowess

Then sail past historical Mohács, where the Turkish victory in

Your expertly guided morning sightseeing tour features Kalemegdan

the tomb of its founder, Marshal Tito. Spend the evening at the
popular Bohemian Skadarlija district and taste some of the finest

Thu. THE IRON GATE / BULGARIA.
Pass the Serbian fortresses of Smederevo and Golubac and the
legendary Trajan’s Table, then head through the Danube’s most
dramatic gorge, the Iron Gate. The impressive Djerdap
hydroelectric project is the subject of a specially organized

Fri. VELIKO TURNOVO / ROUSSE.
Admire the ancient capital of Bulgaria, Veliko Turnovo on the
banks of the Yantra river. Famous Tsarevets Hill, home of the
Royal Fortress and the Patriarchate, is well worth a visit. Browse
through the local handicraft market this afternoon and continue to
the museum town of Arbanassi for a visit. See the Ethnographical
Museum and the Church of the Nativity. Rejoin your cruise ship at

Sat. BLACK SEA CANAL / CONSTANTA, ROMANIA.
The pride and joy of Communist achievement, the 40-mile long Black
Sea Canal, is yours to marvel at this morning while sailing to

Natural History Museum, Peter & Paul Orthodox Church, and a drive
